"If you’re connected, you’re protected," according to Maggie Tolkin and Amy Motschwiller, creators of StudentBackup.com. These innovative women have introduced an easy to install and easy to use software package that provides students a fast, reliable and convenient way for backing up their important computer files. According to a survey conducted at the Cornell University Johnson School of Business while students experienced significant computer failures, 70% of them never backed up their files. Having no luck finding a service that would back up student files, Maggie and Amy designed an innovative software package to fill the void. StudentBackup.com is now available as an inexpensive insurance policy for students who fear the loss of their critical work due to unimaginable computer disasters.

"With college students of our own, we discovered that there was no product on the market that was cost effective and easy to use. Our product protects information daily and provides students and their parent’s peace of mind that their information is safe and can be restored should disaster strike. Unfortunately we know from our research that disaster, in some form, will strike anyone who uses a PC or Laptop," said Amy Motschwiller, co-founder of StudentBackup.com.

StudentBackup’s customized software system has been developed over the years with the goal of providing the most secure method for college students to backup their files automatically every day. Our backup process has been simplified so that once you have installed our proprietary software your job is done. Simply leave your computer on and connected to the Internet each evening and all your files will be backed up at our secure data center located in Islandia, New York.

Each day at a designated time, our software scans your computer’s hard drive for new or modified files. Any files that have been created or changed in the last 24 hours since the last backup are encrypted on your computer, compressed and delivered via the Internet to StudentBackup’s server array at our secure data center. Old unmodified files have already been backed up at our facility and as such do not need to be backed up each evening.

The file restoration process is extremely quick and easy. In the event you need to recover your files, you just click on the Disaster Recovery icon found on the Home Page, follow the simple instructions and within minutes you’ll have your files back and be able to work again.

Main features:

•    448 bit encryption of your data, the highest level of encryption available today.
•    Multi-redundant server infrastructure, including complete redundancy of data in our multi-server environment.
•    Our data center, TWS Hosting, possesses multi-layer redundancy for both electric power and Internet connectivity.

This was filed under the review section? This is just a sales pitch. When a main feature is "448 bit encryption of your data, the highest level of encryption available today." but nothing of the encryption algorithm is mentioned I'm suspicious.
