Nexicon Announces New Executive Advisory Board

A leading supplier of anti-piracy and network security solutions, Nexicon, announces the formation of an executive advisory board to assist in guiding the strategic direction of the company. The board members are Leon Chism, Vice President of Technology at Viewpoints Network, David Cerino, General Manager, Health Care Solutions at Microsoft and Richard Putz, Operating Director of City Capital Advisors & Director at the Cambridge Institute of Applied Management.

Chosen by the company’s management team for their deep knowledge and expertise, the board consists of accomplished individuals with unique talents relevant to Nexicon. The advisory board will be focused on growing Nexicon’s anti-piracy solutions including: optimal operational support, increased sales and marketing activities, the anti-piracy technology platform, and overall strategic direction. Board members will serve for one year and may serve consecutive terms.

CEO, Richard Urrea, said: “Our management team is thrilled to have close access to the collective experience and talent of our newly formed board”. “We anticipate that David, Leon and Richard will add significant value for Nexicon as we continue to grow.”

Specializing in the creation, development and execution of critical new business models, David Cerino touts more than 20 years experience in travel, software  and other industries. Cerino, currently, is at Microsoft Corporation working on large initiatives within the healthcare industry. Cerino, Before joining Microsoft, was the driving force behind Orbitz’ highly successful “Orbitz for Business” unit. He created, as vice president and general manager, built and operated this unique corporate travel market entry. His direct marketing efforts there brought more than 1,400 corporate clients to the portfolio within the first two years. Cerino, prior to his work at Orbitz, held the role of vice president of Internet marketing and customer experience for First USA Bank, as well as six years as senior director of marketing and product management for Amadeus Global Travel Distribution. Cerino has an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Wake Forest University.
