For the manufacturing of their Data Destruction Devices, Proton Data Security, Inc. has chosen API, Inc. and Northern Apex Corporation.

With international ties throughout Europe, Proton Data Security is a Florida-based business, offerring compliance consulting, R&D, new product and service innovation. Through an exclusive license with Proton Engineering, Inc., Proton's current line includes, in addition to data security consulting, secure data destruction magnetic and optical media products (for tape, disc magnetic media, hard drives and CD/DVD optical media). Since 1987, Proton Engineering has been in the data destruction business and has worked closely with the NSA in developing products. Five existing products are on the NSA and DoD approved list. CTO for Proton Data Security, Inc., Dr. Ali Ebadian, explained: "API Alliance has a nice blend of mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge and a highly skilled electro-mechanical assembly team, which made them the right choice for our manufacturing needs".
